El Grand Rodeo in Christiansburg

This place is the best! Their white sauce is AMAZING! One of my favorite restaurants. Always good service and good food. The plates are still hot when the food is brought out!

These guys also run the Campestre locations in Princeton and Beckley. The staff, the food, and the drinks are second to none. Best Mexican food in the area. Shout out to the bartender Chuy as well. Excellent service and an incredible memory. Remembered my usual order and Texas Margarita after not being able to eat there for almost 2 months.

Food is always great and who doesn't love the chips and salsa. We usually order the cheese sauce as well. Busy night at the restaurant and had three different servers-- never did figure out who our actual server was. Fresh food and reasonable prices.

Personally, I find this to be the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I've tried several, but none compare to this one. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, service is quick, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!

Ordered bean burritos but got beef burritos. Told the waiter. We said we'd eat but not what we ordered. He left without a word. Came back with bean burritos. The sauces were unreasonably spicy hot. Had taco salad that had a couple jalapenos in it. Why I don't know. The food wasn't real bad, but if the menu doesn't suggest jalapenos then they shouldn't be there. The waiter wasn't friendly. Everything was fast to him and didn't really smile. Came across as rude. He did refill the drinks. If you like and can handle spicy food, then you may not have a problem with it. Otherwise, you may want to specify no jalapenos. The menu didn't list jalapenos as an ingredient for the taco salad. Most the time they will ask if you want jalapenos in the guacamole.

Very good place to go in the NRV for Mexican food.

Food was good but service was lackluster felt rushed and pressured to order when the place was empty!

Our waiter was amazing, he dealt with an 8 year old boy trying to speak Spanish with him. He also understood the need to leave earlier than we wanted because of our almost 4 month old not cooperating with us. We will definitely be back the food and drinks were wonderful tasting.

There was no wait on a Monday evening around 6:30 pm when the local steakhouses had 45+ minute waits - phooey on them! Nice atmosphere here with really good food that was came quickly, delivered by a very attentive waiter. If there were a better beer selection I'd bump this up a star but that said, they do have the basic bases covered with some mainstream Mexican and domestic bottled and drafts but if you're looking for craft beer to accompany your meal, it's not an option.

I go here frequently. Always fast and good service. If have to be somewhere but want a quick stop to eat with good food, this is the place!

Pretty typical dishes but prepared with more flavor. The atmosphere is lively. The servers are incredibly attentive. Will go back again when Im craving traditional street tacos. Happy eating!

I love this place. Everything on the menu is tasty and great value, although probably not very authentic Mexican. They serve chips with salsa and some kind of ranch with every meal, and have tasty margaritas too. A must try.

First we stumbled across this gem after taking a wrong turn off Route 81N. But, it was the best "wrong-turn" I've made. Beautiful place outside attracted us inside where "Polo" was waiting to exceed our every expectation. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming.But, the absolute best was yet to come!The service was fantastic, but the menu was quite vast and very reasonably priced!The food arrived at the table inside of 10 minutes and the portion sizes was more than "should be" consumed at one setting!The absolute best was the perfectly seasoned Mexican cuisine we bombarded our tastebuds with! Truly some of the best we've had (and we like our Mexican food!)About 3-4 miles off the interstate but worth it

One of my favorite places to eat. Really good food and excellent service. Show up early if you don't want to wait for a table because this place gets packed on a popular night. You won't be disappointed.

Even on a busy Friday evening, the wait staff was friendly and prompt. My sons and I had our drinks, chips, and dips refilled as soon as they were empty. The food arrived to our table shortly after we ordered and was delicious, just as it always is. I cannot recommend Gran Rodeo highly enough.

Well 1st off they are RUDE! Our waiter was asking if we were ready every 2 min wasn't very helpful and was just hateful! I will NEVER come here to eat again! El Marachis or Rocca's will be the only Mexican restaurant I will go to from now on! I don't see why this place is so popular at all! It doesn't even deserve the 1 star

Service was good. Food was good. Our food came out warm but not really hot. Thus the loss of one star. Place was really busy. Hostess said 30 minute wait time. We waited only 8 minutes. Would we go back? Yes.

Fast and polite service. I ordered the Santa Fe and it was so good! Normally I eat either the crunchy tacos or nachos. Overall it's great tex-mex food.

Great food at great prices. I usually get the Fajitas Del Mar which are excellent. The scallops and shrimps are delicious and the portions are generous. The only thing that isn’t generous about the meal is the amount of tortillas they give you. Our go to Mexican restaurant in the New River Valley area. They have yet to disappoint.

If you want amazing Mexican food in Christiansburg, you’ve got to come to Gran Rodeo. My friend and I went here for dinner on Saturday night, and were both pleasantly surprised at the culinary gem we had found. Complimentary chips and salsa, as well as a white ranch dip that packs a slight kick come out first. Prices are very reasonable, but the quality of the food you get is even better. I got dinner combination #6 (burrito, taco, and quesadilla), and my friend got Arroz con Pollo. We both couldn’t believe how incredibly flavorful our meals were. Large portions for the price, and we received numerous drink refills - wait staff is extremely attentive. Very clean restaurant, with a shockingly large and open interior. This passed all of my tests with flying colors, and definitely deserves 5 STARS! Highly Recommended!
